Training Intensities – A table summarizing generalized training intensities, their physiological benefits, and example workouts.

Intensity-Metabolism Chart – A chart indicating the approximate correlation between training intensity and fuel metabolism from various sources (plasma glucose, muscle glycogen, free-fatty acids and muscle triglycerides). I made this representation from research I’ve found coming from multiple exercise physiology studies, and is somewhat unique from anything I’ve seen elsewhere, so I put it together to visually represent one way I often think about training. It’s good to be clear that an athlete’s training state, nutrition, and current fatigue can shift some features of metabolism substantially over time.
